Luke Center for Public Service

Honolulu

Overview

The 2,487 SF center was constructed at the heart of Punahou School and includes a large, multi-purpose workroom, a conference room overlooking a lily pond, whose waters are fed by a legendary spring, and staff offices. Pankow provided demolition and design-build construction services, maintaining the design intent of noted local architect, Vladimir Ossipoff. The Luke Center for Public Service, which provides programming that teaches students how public service can enrich their lives and that of the community, was designed to inspire creativity and exchange.
