Project Engineer

San Francisco, CA

The Project Engineer works as an essential team member in a fast paced and ever changing environment. Under the direction of the Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, they act as the front line on a project to ensure conformance of the Work to the Construction Documents. The Project Engineer coordinates the documents, identifies and resolves conflicts and communicates the resolution to all affected parties. As directed, the Project Engineer translates the Construction Documents into buildable plans then works in support of the Superintendent to implement the plans.

Assistant Project Manager

San Francisco, CA

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) assumes accountability for accurately and punctually managing project documentation. The APM is a clear communicator who informs the Superintendent of critical issues that impact the execution of the Work. As the supervisor of the engineering team, they manage performance, delegate tasks and monitor progress of the team to ensure successful project completion. Client advocacy for both internal and external customers should be clearly demonstrated in the Assistant Project Manager’s approach, communications, work product and results.

Project Manager

The Project Manager (PM) assumes accountability for project results through accurate and timely estimating, cost control and forecasting. The PM maintains and fosters client relationships by clearly setting and communicating achievable expectations with the client and internal team members. This position consults with the appropriate experts to target and achieve results, set challenging goals, and prioritizes tasks to overcome obstacles. The PM sets team standards and responsibilities and provides leadership/motivation to drive toward successful completion of the project.

Senior Project Manager

Oakland, CA

Highest level project manager responsible for overall direction and outcome of the largest revenue projects and/or high volume of medium or smaller projects for the company. This position establishes project objectives, maintains liaison and relationships with client contacts, and monitors construction and financial activities through others and consults with appropriate experts (i.e., Preconstruction and Operations departments, outside consultants, etc.) in order to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of estimates, budgets, schedules, etc. Accordingly this position is also accountable for providing updates on all aspects of the project to the appropriate parties.

Superintendent

The Superintendent implements all field activities for self-performed work, subcontractor work, and field logistical items by coordinating and managing Pankow employees, union employees, and subcontractors. This role acts as a leader in the field in key focus areas of Lean, Quality and Safety and acts as the “Go To” person on the jobsite.

Concrete Assistant Project Manager

The Concrete Assistant Project Manager (CAPM) is responsible for Concrete project results through accurate and timely concrete estimating and proposal efforts, subcontractor procurement, analysis of concrete systems and logistics, and supporting field operations. The CAPM consults with the appropriate experts to target and achieve results, help set challenging goals, and prioritizes tasks to overcome obstacles. The CAPM sets up the concrete work in the field for success.
