Flintridge Prep. School Library Addition

Overview

The project included demolition of an existing library, construction of a new retaining wall and connection at two levels to the adjacent school and auditorium. New construction included a library, kitchen, classrooms, and counseling offices, each designed and built with an STC rating of 45 to minimize sound transmission from its surroundings. Project included building system upgrades of the HVAC, electrical system controls and EMS as well as seismic upgrades to adjacent buildings. Pankow’s design-build process allowed for a team atmosphere and an innovative approach to providing solutions.
