Overview
The 38-story Waikiki Landmark luxury condominium project incorporates two jump-formed towers that are connected by four massive steel trusses at the top. Precision construction execution was required to achieve this challenging effect. An expansive pool, spa, and recreation deck is provided on top of the 11-story parking structure. The project was completed one month ahead of schedule. Substantial savings to the Owner was realized by redesigning the foundation system. Original design called for a basement, which required significant dewatering and placed the project $9M over budget. Pankow redesigned the foundation system to a mat foundation with piles, saving the Owner over $9M.
