San Francisco Public Safety Building

Overview

A major component of the City and County of San Francisco’s Justice Facilities Improvement Program is a new Public Safety Building (PSB). The state-of-the-art building houses the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) Police Command Center, the Southern District Police Station and a neighborhood San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) Fire Station. The project includes a parking structure and adaptive reuse of a historic, red brick fire house. The building is comprised of six stories with a partial basement, containing approximately 300,000 SF.
