LACCD Valley College Community Services Center

Overview

Pankow is the design-builder for Los Angeles Valley College’s Community Services Center. The new building will be made up of three functional zones:

• Instructional zone with dividable lecture hall, computer lab and arts and crafts teaching spaces.
• Activity zone with gymnastics center and two large multi-purpose rooms for rock wall climbing, dance, yoga, martial arts, community wellness and student activities.
• Administrative zone with community services program, support spaces and offices.

Additionally, the project includes the following sitework elements: “Alumni Walk,” athletics events plaza, football practice field, new parking lot and improvements to existing parking lot.
