Gold Bond Building Upgrades
Honolulu
Overview
Upgrades and renovation to the Gold Bond Building included the installation of a new fire sprinkler system to bring the building to code. All work was completed between the hours of 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM, therefore minimizing unnecessary disruption to normal building and tenant operations. Pankow was able to install the system by removing and replacing the ceiling tile, thereby keeping all floors active.
In addition to the fire sprinkler upgrades, Pankow also completed significant renovations to the public areas of the building, including the entry and atrium. All work was completed after normal business hours, therefore resulting in zero downtime for tenants and zero revenue loss for building owners.
