Overview
This state-of-the-art facility serves as the new headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Hawai'i, Guam, Saipan, and American Samoa. Pankow, in joint venture with Archer Western Contractors, constructed this new 200,000 SF facility, which includes a four-story office building, single-story annex, 750 SF visitor screening facility, and 50,000 SF parking structure. Strict security required control of personnel, material deliveries onsite, and documents related to the design and construction of the project.
The FBI Honolulu Field Office merges innovative technology with environmental sensitivity to stand as a model for the ultimate in green building. Built from 20% recycled material, this LEED Gold Certified facility includes a custom lighting system, high-efficiency Mammoth air handling units, and a 710 kW photovoltaic system.
