1951 Harbor Bay
Alameda, CA
Overview
1951 Harbor Bay Parkway is a ground-up development designed to accommodate the expansion of Exelixis, an oncology-focused biotechnology company, within the Harbor Bay Business Park. SRM Ernst retained Pankow to construct the four-story, 220,000 SF build to suit core and shell and tenant improvements for Exelixis. Deep soil mitigation techniques were deployed to support this steel structure with a combination of GFRC and glass curtain wall exterior skin. Design-build MEPS incorporated a commercial kitchen, fitness center, multiple conference rooms and breakout areas, exterior patios and offices. This building is LEED Gold Certified and WELL Building anticipated.
