Designed by HKS Architects and constructed by Pankow Builders, the design-build team collaborated on this project from day one. The Zev Yaroslavsky Family Support Center is a “model” design-build project “done right.” With an award-winning design, incident-free construction site, and bringing the Client's vision into fruition, Pankow and its design partners have reason to celebrate this commemorative achievement. Not only will this new Office Building and new Parking Structure house seven County departments, it will also deliver its services in a better way, with more inspired and motivated staff, in a safer, healthier work environment where clients and employees feel valued as human beings. At the recent Grand Opening on October 8th, newly appointed Supervisor Sheila Kuehl called the new building a much needed collaboration to better serve the needs of residents. “The whole goal is to improve our service and our public’s access to service,” she said.

After serving 20 years as Los Angeles County Supervisor, Zev Yaroslavsky was touched that the building was named after him.
