On July 12^th and 18^th Pankow hosted regional VDC Summits in an effort to showcase the value of implementing Virtual Design and Construction (VDC). The events focused around the 24 BIM uses (per the Penn State BIM Guide) that make up the VDC process and the expected benefits throughout the design and construction process. Thank you to all that attended and provided valuable feedback on how to improve VDC implementation on future projects. A common theme throughout the Summit was the importance of early planning and working VDC into each opportunity.
