San Francisco War Memorial Veterans Building wins APWA Project of the Year Award
On February 25th, San Francisco War Memorial Veterans Building won the APWA Project of the Year award in the Historic Renovation/Preservation Category. This category highlights projects that involve historical restoration, preservation and adaptive reuse of existing buildings, structures, and facilities. The award is intended to promote excellence in the management and administration of public works projects by recognizing the alliance between the managing agency, the architect, engineer, consultants and contractor.
This project also won an Award of Merit in the category of Historic Preservation from Structural Engineers Association of Northern California (SEAONC).
