Pankow Spotlight: Mark Ouimette Completed the Carpenters International Training Fund Superintendent Career Training Program
Congratulations to Mark Ouimette for completing the Carpenters International Training Fund Superintendent Career Training program. This United Brotherhood of Carpenters program, teaches that productive job sites don’t happen by accident. The program supports individuals to become smart, forward-thinking superintendents who know how to manage and motivate people, solve problems, while keeping an eye on the bottom line. Mark’s mentor, Frank Murphy said “I saw the talent in Mark eight years ago and I believe that he is well-equipped in experience and leadership skills to be a phenomenal superintendent.”
Mark has 16 years of extensive construction experience as a carpenter and foreman prior to becoming a Field Superintendent. Over the past 8 years with Pankow, Mark has worked on numerous projects including healthcare, parking structures and higher education. He is currently at the San Francisco Public Safety Building site.
Other Pankow participants of the Carpenter’s Superintendent Career Training that will graduate in May 2015 include:
• Mickey Manual Jr. currently working at 1321 Mission
• Jim Norris currently working at SF Veteran’s War Memorial
• Manny Carvalho currently working out of the Oakland Office planning future healthcare renovation work
Pankow is proud to support and mentor individuals through this training program, and will continue to provide opportunities to grow others in acquiring the skills they need to achieve their goals.
