Employee Spotlight: Professor Stacey Toguchi

Pankow's Assistant Project Manager, Stacey Toguchi, is teaching a course at Loyola Marymount University. It is an upper division elective in the Civil Engineering Department, acting as an introduction to Construction Management and LEED due to LMU's lack of a CM program. Stacey attended LMU for her undergraduate degree and a few of her professors have maintained communication with her via LinkedIn. This past summer, one of her professors approached Stacey and inquired whether she would be interested in teaching a course due to the professors' lack of hands-on construction experience. Stacey accepted the offer enthusiastically; she busied herself with creating a syllabus and developing a viable lesson plan due to the infancy of this course.

"I was nervous before my first class, but the students have been great and a lot of them are genuinely interested in pursuing a career in construction," said Stacey Toguchi.

A few of Pankow's personnel are slated to become future guest lecturers.
