On Saturday March 25, Pankow participated in the 4^th annual 'Fighting on the Field for a Common Goal' fundraising soccer tournament at the Bladium Sports & Fitness Club in Alameda. Competing were teams made up from the Carpenters Union local 713, Legislators, Developers, Pankow (representing General Contractors) and a Bladium team. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Cypress Mandela Training Center which focuses on helping at risk youth by providing pre-apprentice construction and life skills training along with employment assistance.
