Habitat for Humanity Celebrates Chestnut Homes Dedication Ceremony
On March 12th, San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity celebrated its Dedication Ceremony at the Chestnut Homes in Glendale, CA. All donors, volunteers and supporters commended one another for a job well done. The ceremony included introductions and speeches from Habitat for Humanity's Board Members, presentation of house warming gifts, presentation of keys and a ribbon cutting. Words of appreciation were given by a member of the Castaneda Family, the Samuel/Nassef Family, and the Zakarian/Bazikian Family (shown here).
Habitat for Humanity builds, renovates and repairs affordable housing as the major thrusts of its worldwide mission to build awareness of the need to eliminate poverty housing and to act in response to this need. The Chestnut Home project provided three 3-story, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom single family homes to three deserving families.
