Jack Mollenkopf, CEO

Jack is responsible for overseeing all preconstruction and construction activities. He provides executive-level oversight with a focus on ensuring that the delivery of services exceeds client expectations.

He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Purdue University’s Construction Engineering and Management Department and as a Board Member of the Los Angeles Chapter ACE Mentor Program. He is also a member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). He holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Dave Eichten, President and Chairman of the Board

Dave spearheads all operational activities and oversees Pankow’s board of directors. Since joining the company in 1988, Dave has served as Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President/Regional Manager, Project Executive, Project Sponsor, Project Engineer, and Field Engineer. As President, he is responsible for all of Pankow’s planning and building operations including safety, quality, production, estimating, scheduling, virtual design/construction, and direct work.

As Chairman of the Board, Dave provides leadership to the company’s officers and executives, maintaining overall governance in support of what is best for the organization. Working in close partnership with Jack Mollenkopf, CEO, and Pankow’s board members, Dave’s role is crucial in achieving Pankow’s mission to find better building solutions that support client success.

He currently serves on the Advisory Committee at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is a Board Member of the Design-Build Institute of America, Western Pacific Region. He is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). Dave holds a B.S. in Construction Management from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Bret Firebaugh, Vice President, Business Development

As Vice President of Business Develpment, Bret helps drive the company’s passion to be the best client advocate in the building industry and ensures Pankow delivers exceptional performance to our clients. Bret is well-known for his expertise in Lean and collaborative project delivery, friendly demeanor and client-focused approach.

Bret holds a B.S. in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Mike Trim, Regional Vice President, Northern California

As Regional Vice President, Mike provides strategic leadership and direction to the Northern California team, ensuring alignment with Pankow's overall objectives. He holds the pivotal role of overseeing all activities, operations, and personnel, with more than 90 employees in its Oakland and San Francisco locations.

Mike holds a B.S. in Construction Management from California State University, Chico.

Elton Murakami, Regional Vice President, Southern California

As Regional Vice President, Elton provides strategic leadership and direction to the Southern California team, ensuring alignment with Pankow's overall objectives. He holds the pivotal role of overseeing all Southern California activities, operations, and personnel.

A LEED AP and DBIA Designated Professional, Elton currently serves as the Chair of the LA/Orange County Chapter of the Design Build Institute of America - Western Pacific Region (DBIA-WPR). He is recognized as a thought leader in the industry. Elton's dual role as a leader in both the professional national and regional arenas showcases his passion for advancing construction practices and fostering collaborative relationships.

Elton holds a B.S. Civil Engineering, Purdue University.

Ed Nochez, Vice President, Pankow Concrete

Ed Nochez, Vice President of Pankow Concrete, brings over 30 years of invaluable construction experience to the industry. Earning his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Ed has been a driving force behind Pankow's success since day one.

Ed has served Pankow and his clients in every operational role including project engineer, project manager, superintendent, and project executive on some of Pankow’s largest ground up projects. His technical expertise on complex building products has made him a great client advocate through the life cycle of a project, from planning to final completion.

In his role as Vice President of Concrete, Ed oversees the strategic direction and operations of Pankow's concrete division, shaping the company's approach to construction projects. His visionary leadership, coupled with a commitment to excellence, ensures that Pankow remains at the forefront of the industry.

Beyond his professional achievements, Ed's philanthropic endeavors and mentorship initiatives illustrate his commitment to giving back to the community and nurturing the next generation of construction professionals.
