What You'll Be Doing:
Managing jobsite petty cash accounts, including reconcilement and balancing of accounts
Set-up and maintain project files for consultants and subcontractors, including contacts, change orders, bonds, insurance certificates, lien releases
Assist Project Superintendent with preparation of subcontract payment packaging for processing
Perform all clerical duties including filing, answering the phone, etc.
Perform accounting functions such as submittal of purchase orders, jobsite check preparation submittal of payroll information, vouchers, etc.
Assist Project Superintendent with assembly of cost projection information
Order office supplies and manage office equipment maintenance and repairs
Accumulate and review the completeness and accuracy of new employee documentation and forward to the Pasadena payroll department
Process weekly field payroll
Coordinate manual checks for lay-offs
Manage safety program including accumulation of hours and planning of safety awards
What We Look For:
Training and experience in computer data input and accounting functions for construction projects
Experience with Marketing and Business Development is a plus
