Cathedral Hill Hospital and MOB All Hands Meeting
Northern California got to learn from Pankow's Cathedral Hill Hospital and MOB team about the benefits and challenges of being on an IPD project. Joe McKeown and the team shared what it is like to be a Structural Concrete trade partner on the job versus the GC.
We moved into the Big Room and Sarah Deck led us in a Stretch and Flex and then walked us through a typical Big Room Meeting. We also learned about the benefits of VPlanner.
After concluding at Cathedral Hill, we walked over to Pankow's job site office across the street to learn more about the MOB, which is also a part of the Van Ness and Geary campus. Justin Cook showed us the technology they are using to shore the excavation and we got an update on the status and challenges of the project.
Both teams clearly embrace the Van Ness and Geary campuses' values and promote passion, positive energy, and a family atmosphere.
"I thought CH and MOB tour and presentations were excellent. I took some good notes and really walked out of there excited about what I learned and how I can take some of those lessons to my next project. Great job!" Michael Strong, Superintendent
