Superintendent Career Training Program

Al Pacheco, Bruce Mitchell, Rudy Zuniga and Ryan Gerber graduated from the Superintendent Career Training Program. The Carpenters International Training Fund's Superintendent Career Training (SCT) program is an 18-month classroom and on-the-job instructional program that prepares participants to be highly skilled construction industry professionals. Through the use of mentors, company-sponsored learning opportunities, and expert instruction from industry-experienced professors of well-known universities, graduates of the program are equipped to oversee and manage productive work sites that keep projects safe, on time and within budget. The trainee attends four sessions, each one approximately six months apart. Between sessions, the trainee and mentor work together on-the-job to complete required course projects. The mentor is someone chosen by the contractor that would mentor the trainee throughout the entire 18 months. Also attending the session was Armondo Castaneda who is half way through the program with his superintendent mentor Mark Ouimette.

Congratulations to Al Pacheco, Bruce Mitchell, Rudy Zuniga and Ryan Gerber!
